6th October 2007 saw the BPY 07' gather for our community service project @ SMARTER which stands for the Society for the Management of Autism Related Issues- in Training, Education and Resources Brunei Darussalam. The Centre deals with children who have Autism Specific Disorder (ASD) and following a talk by the founding member of the Society, Haji Malai Abdullah, the BPY 07' thought it was only fair that we drop by one day to see how we could help out.. rest assured, our day spent with brilliant and enigmatic kids like Irfan and Siang was memorable and God Willing, SMARTER will see a new set of volunteers in 2 months time once we're done with our fantastic ship experience.
